Andy Grove discussed “the software spiral”: Better hardware drove new software, which in turn drove the need for higher performance Intel processors.

Today, with AI and predictive design techniques, Intel is envisioning their next microprocessors by starting with customers’ software applications, modeling and simulating, then using these results to drive processor design. This in turn allows Intel to design the best hardware/software to meet its customers’ AI-related needs.

About Our Speaker:

We are excited to bring you this webinar with Pradeep K. Dubey, Intel Senior Fellow and director of the Parallel Computing Lab, a part of the Intel Labs organization at Intel Corporation. Pradeep’s talk will cover some of the emerging application opportunities enabled by AI, and system-level – both hardware and software – implications that lie at the heart of this intersection of traditional high-performance computing with emerging data-intensive computing. Pradeep’s talk will be moderated by our own Intel alum, Neil Blecherman.
